Road to Net-Zero

Buildings consume 40% of the world’s energy, with HVAC systems accounting for 50% of this consumption. As a significant player in the HVAC industry, we know that it is essential for us to participate in the mitigation of climate change. Therefore, we are committed to innovating energy-saving solutions to reduce the impact of HVAC systems on the environment while actively working towards more sustainable forms of manufacturing.

We are leading environment protection by innovating products and solutions that reduce HVAC systems' negative impact on the environment and promote more sustainable forms of energy consumption.  We are living it by investing in developing sustainable manufacturing practices.

Leading it – Smarter Products

As a leading manufacturer in the HVAC industry, we understand our products' impact on the environment and the responsibility we have in creating more sustainable HVAC systems to help preserve our wonderful planet.

Our R&D teams work tirelessly to develop products that reduce energy consumption and therefore CO2 emissions. For example, TA-Slider was developed following research to determine the perfect indoor environment to boost productivity, well-being, and energy efficiency. The valve's unique features accurately control a wide temperature range, delivering optimal energy savings, and reducing CO2 emissions.

We also work to ensure that our products can be easily retrofitted in HVAC system renovation projects. Optimizations and renovations are one of the most effective ways to reduce a building's carbon footprint, saving up to 30% of a building's energy costs.

Finally, product longevity and quality are fundamental promises we make to our customers; this way, we ensure a sustainable and optimal hydronic system allowing for long-term energy savings and a reduced carbon footprint.

Living it – The Journey to a Greener Manufacturing & Way of Working

We have decided to focus on three pillars of sustainability to ensure greener manufacturing at all our production sites and offices.

reduce our carbon footprint
Reduce our carbon footprint by lowering our emissions and moving towards greener energy sources, such as solar power, and reducing car travel of our sales force.  We have an ambitious plan to be at Zero Carbon by 2040.
reduce water consumption
Reduce our water consumption and use more sustainable water sources, such as closed-loop systems to reuse water and use rainwater whenever possible.  By 2040, we plan for 40% of the water to come from water recycling systems.
waste reduction
Waste and plastic reduction is the 3rd pillar of our strategy. One of our key goals is to package all our products with the most sustainable materials available to reduce our contribution to single-use plastic pollution. By 2025, we plan to divert our waste from landfills. We aim to be fully recyclable.
