China Resource Centre (CRC)

Delivering optimum indoor climate with trouble free operation for a high profile new development.

The Hydronic Challenge

China Resource Centre (CRC), the new headquarters of China Resource Company, has several different buildings with a total area of 400,000m2. The development, located in Shenzhen, is a multi use development and includes a shopping centre, a 6 star hotel, an office building and luxurious residential apartments.

Aiming for the highest standards in quality, the customer needed a partner to deliver a perfect indoor climate solution with trouble-free operation.

The Solution

In the early project phase, the IMI Hydronic Engineering team in China provided seminars for the designers and consultants involved, addressing project specific requirements. This succeeded in creating an appreciation for the importance of total hydronic balancing.

The close cooperation with designers and consultants and continuous support from design to construction phase, enabled the IMI Hydronic Engineering team in China to deliver a balancing solution using manual balancing valves, providing the optimum indoor climate. In addition to the design support, the team also provided commissioning services to ensure all the valves were set up correctly. Dedication and know-how during this final commissioning phase before the opening of the building, ensured optimal system operation from the very beginning and the system continues to perform as desired by CRC and its tenants.
